Stop struggling with your event and get clarity on the right path forward for your organization.
You’ve got a big mission, but a small staff. You’re balancing cultivation and stewardship, using all the tools from direct mail to email.
You understand the power of events as a tool, but are overwhelmed by the details and time required to design and execute once successfully.
Add in the necessity of nurturing attendees relationships after the fact, which makes the event’s ROI go up even more, and it’s all just too much.
This will help.
Introducing the TSL Event Road Map
3 Event Frustrations This Will Solve
1. “Our event isn’t working anymore and I don’t know why, nor do I have time to figure it out.”
Your last event fell short of its goals; maybe for the first time or maybe it’s been a consistent downward trend, especially since the pandemic.
You’ve put “Fix annual event” on your to-do list, but you’re too busy keeping all the wheels turning each day to get to it.
2. “I know why my event isn’t working, but I need help explaining it to my organization’s leadership and board so we can make the necessary changes.”
You’ve figured out the flaw in the plan (or the resources, or the execution), but you need an outside observer to help explain that “why” to the decision makers to get approval for changes.3. “I know events are helpful tools, but we’ve never had one and I have no idea where to start.”
Whether it’s because you’ve had a small staff, limited budgets, or no time, recognizing you need an event is the first step.
TSL can step in and guide you through the rest so you are confident in why you’re hosting an event, the format it should take, and how to execute it flawlessly to achieve your organization’s goals.
Do any of these sound familiar?
Then the TSL Event Road Map is for you.
How It Works
Schedule your complimentary consultation at a convenient time on your calendar.
During our 30-minute call we’ll discuss your existing event and the struggles it’s had so I can make sure the TSL Event Road Map is the right option for your organization going forward.
If it is, we sign a contract and move on to Step 2!
If it’s not, I’ll provide you with alternative recommendations to help.
First things first: I’ll send you a list of the data points I need to understand your event and identify potential paths for improvement.
Once you send the data, we’ll block off a half day on your calendar for the road map strategy session (Step 3).
In the meantime, you continue focusing on your day-to-day work while I analyze the data and create the framework for the strategy session.
We’ll hit the ground running as I show you my analysis so far based on the goals you shared with me during our initial consultation call.
Then I’ll lead your team through a series of questions and recommendations so we can collectively outline:
- Possible event format changes
- Specific target audience details
- Ways to create the content and experience today’s post-pandemic guests expect
- How to ensure your organization’s mission is top of mind for all guests
- How to source the right vendor partners
- Logistical details, run of show template, budgeting, etc.
- How to successfully execute the event on site
- PLUS… what to do after the event to keep the attendees engaged and coming back next time!
After the Road Map Strategy Session, I take all of the ideas we discussed, check them against the data from earlier, and compile them into your organization’s Event Road Map.
You receive the Road Map in a Google document and take a week to review it with your team, adding any notes or questions in the comments.
Then we’ll hop on a Zoom call to talk through your notes and questions. You’ll walk away feeling confident about your next steps and how to accomplish them.
" Thank you so much for everything – all the feedback we are hearing is that the entire evening was lovely and seamless and fun and that it all looked gorgeous. We couldn’t have pulled it off without you! "
